Insulating our beehives with wool
Hello! We are Robert & Maggie Bacheller, welcome to our farm! We discovered our passion for clean, healthy, local food in 2020, and since then we have been involved in various farms and projects as we have learned more about small-scale farming. In 2025 we formally established Living Land Farm and are excited to share the fruits of our labor with you!
We chose the name Living Land Farm because it reflects our values and our commitment to land stewardship that brings forth healthy, natural abundance—a farm where the land itself is literally alive and thriving. When the land is healthy, plants and animals (including wildlife) will also be healthy, and the people who eat from that land will flourish along with it.
Our farm is located in Clinton County, Ohio, and consists of 70 acres with a mix of woods, pasture, hills, and a creek. We raise livestock and honeybees using pasture-based methods, emphasizing rotational grazing and practices that work with nature rather than against it. Our approach is inspired by farmers who have demonstrated that good stewardship and ecological health go hand-in-hand with producing wholesome food. We strive to minimize off-farm inputs and create systems where the land supports itself, building soil health and biodiversity with each passing season.
We believe knowing where your food comes from matters, and we'd love to be your farmers!
Our cats say hello, too! :)
